Welcome to the
Asian American Leadership Center!

The Asian American Leadership Center (AALC) is a 501(c)(3) faith-based ministry organization that serves as both a ministry consulting and missionary-sending organization.

The AALC was founded in 2004, by a group of innovative church and ministry leaders who discerned the need for a new kind of ministry organization, one that would focus on (1) empowering young, emerging, and entrepreneurial leaders to custom-design their own ministry positions and to launch new ministries and ministry organizations in response to God's unique calling on their lives, and (2) equipping and supporting existing church and parachurch leaders in established ministry contexts to address common leadership and organizational challenges.

The Asian American Leadership Center was a response to that need.

mission

vision To establish a network of ministry leaders who are empowered to support local churches, start new outreach ministries, and serve alongside community organizations to address the spiritual and social needs of Asian Americans in their local communities and around the world.

Our hope is that by meeting the spiritual and social needs of Asian Americans, we can inspire and equip more people to grow to their full potential, and to live their lives for Jesus Christ.

focus Our current three-fold focus includes:
  1. Emerging Leaders: Empowering emerging and entrepreneurial leaders to start new churches and ministries by providing coaching and a non-profit organizational platform from which to launch their new ministries,

  2. Existing Leaders: Equipping existing church and parachurch leaders in their current ministries by providing strategic planning and consulting, and

  3. Research: Exploring various leadership issues impacting the development of Asian American leaders by conducting research among Asian American leaders and churches.
